Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Brittney Grant and I am the custom cake artist for Quillians Grill and Catering Company and the Owner of Sweetly Baked! I am nestled in the little town of Clermont in the heart of the North Georgia Mountains. My background in the artistry of sugary confections goes back to 2003 when I was a mere 15 years old baking in my family's restaurant kitchen.  In 2011, my parents Len and Denise Dale opened the doors to our 5th restaurant adventure and Quillians Grill and Catering Co. was born. I spent many long hours inventing signature desserts, working in the Customer Service field, developed our online resources, and was officially our floor manager while working hands on with our staff for Catering Events and Food and Beverage Service.  I also have a degree in nursing and spent 2 years working in Internal Medicine. When I do manage to squeeze in a day off I love spending quality time with my husband Jon and I thoroughly enjoy quality time with my son and daughter. I am a self taught artist and spent many long hours studying to learn how to professionally decorate cakes with a unique style and a modern twist. After 2 years of learning as much I could on my own I signed up for extensive cake schools and attended cake classes with some of the industries best cake artist. This is where I grew my talent from a hobby into a successful, creative, and professional career . In 2016 I had my first magazine publication with Cake Central Magazine and in January of 2017 and my work has been featured in other magazines such The Knot, Lanier Bridal, American Cake Decorating, and many more. I don't just enjoy creating one of a kind cakes for all occasions, I LIVE for it. Sugary goodness is woven in my DNA and I look forward to creating an edible work of art for you to look back on for years to come!
